Your Technician:

Brian Maki is your lead technician.  He is the owner of Maki Consulting, with over 19 years of hardware and software experience.
  

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University (1993) in CIS and CS, with a major in English studies.

He has been teaching adult education at Marquette Senior High School (MSHS) for 15 years.  He offers a wide range of topics and his computer classes are popular and well-received by the public.


His background work qualifications include:

+  Provide professional training for companies.  This includes preparation of all class materials and booklets.  Private companies receive special handouts dealing with their own special projects and topics.

Expert in Office 2000, Office XP (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), Office 2003, Office 2007, and Office 2010.  Professional trainings have reached over 5,000 people since 1996.

+  Perform service contracts with commercial and residential clientele.

Install software and hardware on all types of computer models.

Knowledgeable in pricing of current parts and top-of-the-line computer devices.

Instructor for Northern Michigan University’s Staff Development Series and Extension Course offerings.  Eighteen different concept classes were taught to business professionals. (1998 -1999).

+  Enrichment Teacher for adult education classes held at Marquette Senior High School.  Classes have included introduction methods to database development principles. (1996 – present).

+  Develop business outlines for clients to purchase new equipment, offer advice after purchase, and provide custom-built systems.

+  Attend local computer seminars and college classes for individual training, growth, and expertise.

of two poetry books: FLYING A KITE (1993), Where strong Winds Blow (1994).

about writing and self-publication to elementary, middle school, high school and college levels in the Marquette area (1992-2000).
